Awning Clamps

New Awning Clamps, secure your awning so you can let the breeze blow and never worry.
Awning Clamps

When applying the clamp on the awning, always divide the awning material equally. If using two on a side, divide the material by one third, if three on a side, divide by one quarter. Clamp the rubber part on the seam of the awning (with the lever pointed down) where it is double thick and twice as strong. Always push the locking lever away from the rubber grips.

Next, pull bungee through looped end of clamp until ball comes up against loop. Wrap bungee over top of awning rail and loop around ball. Bungee should only be one half extended. That way when the wind blows there is room for the awning material to flex and still be under control. Proper tension also allows rain water to run off easily.

Awning Clamps in use

Always store clamps in relaxed position to extend life of clamp. A silicone lubricant can be used on moving parts if they become stiff.

VIP recommends that these clamps are not used in conjunction with any other type of clamps.

These clamps can also be used for anything requiring small clamps. When less grip is necessary, move the lever toward the rubber grips. Some other uses might be hobbies, hanging novelties from the awning, or hanging sun screens.
